| SPORTS STAR:
• We are proud of Kum. Saina Nehwal, International badminton player Arjuna Awardee & Padmasri awardee is from our school.
• Saina Nehwal won the women’s singles Badminton final to clinch India’s gold that took the hosts past England into the second place on the medals table at the Commonwealth Games.
• B.Vijetha of class V secured Third position in the event Road-I and got merit certificate in CBSE South Zone inter school Roller Skating Championship – 2011 at Belgaum from 11th October to 14th October 2011.
CRICKET:
• Mast. Rajath Kumar Choudhary of class X participated in 1st All India under-15 National Fedration Cup League Tournament at Chennai from 13th to 17th August 2008 and reached Quarter finals.
• He was selected to represent Cricket Federation of India under-19 Cricket team and won the title ‘Man of the Match’.
• He was also one of the cricket team members under 19-20 ‘Challenge Trophy’ at Colombo, Srilanka from 30th March to 5th April 2009,organized by Darul Salam Sports Club.
BADMINTON:
• In the month of June from 1st to 6th in 2008, Union Bank of India conducted Badminton Tournament at Bangalore in which Kum.Veda Samhita of class IX participated and stood as a Quarterfinalist.
• In the month of August from 7th to 9th in 2008, Shuttle Badminton Tournament was held at Madhuranagar, Hyderabad in which Veda Samhita of Class IX stood as the winner of the Tournament winning the Singles Title.
CARROMS:
• In the month of June,2009 from 19th to 23rd there was GHMC Annual Open Ranking Carroms Championship held at Victory Play ground in which G.Shravika Reddy of class IX participated and stood 1st in Juniors Category.

DRAWING & PAINTING:
• Mast.T.Sricharan of class III received Kala Gaurav Award in the National Handwriting & Colouring Contest 2008 conducted on 19th Sept.2008 organized by Student Development Society,Pune.
• Kum. Kripa S.Kumar of class VII received Balashree Award in National painting Competition conducted on 30.07.2008, organized by Centre for Indian Art Resources & Training, New Delhi.
• M.Sai Keerthana of class III and G Rama Deepthi of class VII received Kalagaurav Award in National Level Mega Drawing & Handwriting Competition conducted on 17.7.2008, organized by National Institute of Kalabharati Child Art Institute, Pune.
DANCE & MUSIC:
• Kum. P.P.Sirisha of Class X participated in 43rd All India competitions in Music
and Dance conducted by Navya Nataka Samithi in collaboration with YMCA and
Department of Culture, A.P. in Junior section and stood first in Andhra Natyam –
Junior category for the consecutive 3rd time and she has won Rolling Trophy also
for winning 1st prize for 3 years since 2008.
NATIONAL CHILDRENS SCIENCE CONGRESS:
• In the year 2009, eight
(8) science projects were presented at District level Children’s Science Congress.
Out of 8 projects, one project titled Bio-Fuel – an Exploration of Energy Source
was selected at State Level. The same project was also selected at Indian Science
Congress held at Kerala University, Trivandrum, Kerala through Lead India 2020
by the following Students:

NATIONAL TALENT SEARCH EXAM:
• Master Shrinidhi of class IX was awarded scholarship by passing NTSE-2008 conducted by NCERT for higher studies by the Government of India @ Rs.500/- pm to complete the studies till Post Graduation/Ph.D. level.
